Oak Crest Declaration of Restrictions

The Oak Crest Declaration of Restrictions was created and filed with the County of Peoria Illinois in 1988.  The Developer Charles Rock transferred Developer rights and responsibilities to the Homeowners Association in 1993.

Currently the original Restrictions are still in place, and can be enforced by any individual property owner,
or by the Homeowners Association.

Every property owner is encouraged to review and understand the Restrictions.  Real estate transactions such as selling properties, refinancing, or title work, can be delayed or affected by issues of non-compliance with the Restrictions.
If you have questions about the Restrictions, please email the HOA.

Neighborhood Activities

Throughout the year, Oak Crest neighbors enjoy many activities, including:

Annual HOA Meeting & Social - despite COVID we have done our best to keep getting together; usually a neighborhood BBQ is the order of the day for our annual meeting in late spring/early summer
Sprinkler Nights - the neighborhood turns on their sprinklers when it's hot out and the kids run free!
Fourth of July Flag display - each property is lined with American Flags in a wonderful patriotic display
Halloween - This spooky night is really special in Oak Crest with lots of fun displays and lights.  Be sure to stop by the end of Black Oak Court on October 31 every year for a warm fire, fun food and great conversation.  All the kids, and the kids at heart, will love it!
Luminary Night - a beautiful tradition of lighting the neighborhood with Christmas lights and luminaries on the third Sunday of every December.  Walk or drive around to enjoy all the lights and put up your own display--the house with the best lights gets the traveling "Griswold" trophy!
